Experiential marketing is largely delivered by event people, using event skills and event supply chains. The creator economy now merges with brand activations, with creator led events and live streaming built into event strategy. Game engines run real time event visuals and virtual production. Digital twins are used to model large events and venues before they are built. Creative technologists deploy projection mapping, LED, AR and VR in live environments. Placemaking happens through events, the laneway activation, the night market, the street festival.
The Event Industry is both a creative industry in its own right, and the place where many of these disciplines come together, live, in front of an audience.
