An open day of the entire Docklands site
that was attended by 50,000 members of the public. With activities
ranging from displays and exhibitions, to street performers and
children's' rides, to classic wooden speedboats and a yachting regatta.
It included working with eighty major stakeholders
- motivating, encouraging and involving them; providing ideas
and advice about their involvement.
The event involved a major transport operation
including ferries, buses, people movers, and VIP shuttles, as
well as pedestrians, private cars and public transport.
I started with a twenty word brief, and
in a period of three months created the entire event.
